The first thing you may notice as you step on board this yacht is that it takes full advantage of her 7.05 m (23.1 ft) beam. 

What’s more, you may notice how there’s no space wasted on tenders or intrusive equipment such as dinghy cranes.

The reason for this is because the tender and jetski are conveniently stored out of sight in the stern dinghy garage. Not only does this leave the cockpit uncluttered for entertaining, but it leaves the flybridge open too. From the cockpit into the spacious saloon, the focal point is the long path connecting the saloon lounge to the main deck master stateroom.

This feature “creates a strong spatial continuity permitting an immediate and full perception of the yacht length, from stern to bow, and achieving a depth of field very unusual for yachts of similar size,” says Sanlorenzo S.p.a.

Large windows fill the saloon with natural light and visually make it look even more spacious.

The wide port side sliding door (near the glass dining table for 8) opens to the sea and sea breezes — creating another alfresco dining opportunity and enlargement of the saloon.

Moreover, many mirrors throughout the saloon — including a ceiling mirror that stretches almost the entire port side — catch extra light and reflect views of the sea throughout the interior. Combined, these elements allow you to enjoy the sea, breezes, and sun while enjoying great comfort and luxury indoors.

As for the saloon’s furniture and materials, it’s been carefully selected from the catalogues of the most prestigious brands of Italian and international design.

A large L-shaped couch wraps around a dark designer coffee table, while a glass dining table for 8 is set against a bulkhead clad in copper finishings and a mirror. And the stylish design of the bulkhead brings in more light and creates a sensation of more space.

The remaining walls of the saloon “show off Italian craftsmanship with high-gloss lacquer or hand-stitched leathers” adds Chris Caswell, Yachts International Magazine.

Now, you know that feeling when you first arrive at home after a long trip? Well, that’s the same feeling you may experience when you step inside the saloon of this SL106 for the first time too.

As you enter the master stateroom, you’ll pass the wide walk-in closet.

At the center of the stateroom, you’re encircled by panoramic views of the sea and sky from four different directions: to port, to fore, to starboard and to the skies above through three optional electrical skylights.

And with a press of a button, sliding panels on the port and starboard windows, which Sanlorenzo calls “eyelids,” slide down to offer even greater views from the stateroom. With such expansive views, one can only imagine how great you’ll feel within this scenic stateroom.

To the starboard side, you’ll find a generous ensuite composed of an enclosed head, walk-in shower and his & her’s washbasins. Marble is generously used throughout the entire ensuite: in the sinks, flooring, shower, and walls. And the marble’s affect is heightened by the natural light pouring through the large window. Overall, the whole master stateroom is bright, large, picturesque, and inviting.

Take the winding back-lit staircase below deck and you’ll discover four sumptuous staterooms that can accommodate up to 9 guests overnight.

The guest cabins are nearly equal in size and similarly setup with large opening windows, closets, large televisions, and extra storage contained within more high-gloss lacquer cabinetry. For more convenience, all staterooms have ensuite heads composed of ample amounts of marble and glass.

Moreover, you’ll love the fore most starboard cabin because it offers a multi-functional configuration. It has a desk, sofa, multi-media setup, and sleeping room for three provided by two additional pullmans. This may be the perfect office area, kids area, below deck entertainment area, or extra room for whatever you desire.

As for climate control, avant-garde technology is found throughout the yacht. For instance, underneath the numerous diamond black crystal surfaces (found throughout the yacht) are the Vimar climate automation controls. These devices can be used to create the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests. Guests in each stateroom can set the temperature they desire. As well, lighting can be set to soft or bright. And an electrical curtain and full blackout system can be used to let in all the natural light you want or block it out, completely.

According to Sanlorenzo, as yachts get bigger their connection with the sea often diminishes.

And for that reason, the very wide, swim platform design of the SL106 ensures that this doesn’t happen. The swim platform can raise and lower to your desired level.

Accessible from the aft, and through the service room, there’s 5,274 horse power contained within two very large 4 cylinder, turbo diesel engines.

These dual MTU 16V2000 M96L’s are capable of powering this 32.20 m yacht up to 30 knots.

An impressive feat that will take you wherever you need to go in speed, comfort, and style. And with her 12,400 litre fuel tank you’ll have a comfortable range of 400 nm at 25 knots, and a long distance range of 1,250 nm at 10 knots.
