AB Yachts is a renowned shipyard specialising in the production of high-performance luxury yachts. With a steady-fast commitment to innovation and incorporating aircraft construction techniques, AB Yachts has firmly established itself as one of the leaders in the yachting industry. Founded in 1992, AB Yachts was the first to pioneer the use of water jets to power luxury motor yachts. Specialising in semi-custom motor and sports yachts measuring between 24 and 50 metres in length, AB Yachts combines state-of-the-art hull construction techniques with waterjet propulsion. Changing hands in 2001, the yard was acquired by NEXT Yacht Group in 2021, a step which has only fuelled AB Yachts’ developments. Currently offering three models, this includes the AB 80 Sportfly, AB 100 Sportfly and the AB 120 Sportfly, which is currently the largest yacht in the range. The 30-metre AB 100 Sportfly has an eye-watering top speed of 59 knots, which is roughly 25 knots faster than other high-profile, open maxi yachts in the same size range.
