AZIMUT ATLANTIS SERIES

The Atlantis series from Italian shipyard Azimut is a range of open sports cruisers. Featuring two performance-oriented yachts that balance athletic aesthetics with versatile livability, the first in the series introduced to the market was the Atlantis 47 (discontinued) in 2002, with an exterior design by Stefano Righini and interiors by Carlo Galeazzi. Over the years, the Atlantis series has evolved into a range of vacuum-infused GRP yachts spanning 10 to 18 metres in length. Current models in production include the Atlantis 45 and flagship Atlantis 51, both featuring exterior designs by Neo Design’s Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti, who have styled the entire range since 2009. Distinguished by their distinctive vertical bow profiles, generous beam measurements, and single-piece curved windscreens, the Atlantis series combines top speeds exceeding 35 knots with spacious Italian-crafted interiors that maximise accommodation within their class. Both models in the Atlantis series feature flush main deck configurations that facilitate easy movement between living areas, eliminating steps from stern to bow. The cockpit layouts incorporate C-shaped seating arrangements with convertible dining tables, wet bars, and dedicated helm stations, whilst electric retractable hardtops with sliding roof sections provide flexible coverage across social spaces. Transom areas house integrated tender garages capable of accommodating jet tenders, with swim platforms featuring dual access ladders. Forward sunpads feature adjustable backrests, pop-up LED lighting, and integrated storage. On the lower deck, both Atlantis models showcase a central galley-dinette arrangement that expands perceived space through strategic positioning and wraparound windows. The entry-level Atlantis 45 accommodates four guests across two ensuite staterooms, while the flagship Atlantis 51 can welcome up to six guests across three ensuite staterooms. Powered by Volvo Penta IPS diesel engines ranging from IPS600 to IPS800 configurations with joystick control, the Atlantis series achieves top speeds of between 33 and 35 knots and cruising speeds of 28 and 31 knots.
