Baglietto Yachts
BAGLIETTO YACHTS FOR SALE
A historic Italian shipyard headquartered in La Spezia, Baglietto specialises in the construction of semi-custom superyachts. Best known for its displacement and semi-displacement yachts, Baglietto offers models ranging from 35 to over 60 metres in length. Founded in 1854 by Pietro Baglietto in Varazze, Italy, the shipyard initially focused on building small boats and racing sailboats. However, Baglietto quickly gained a reputation for its innovation and went on to produce Italy’s largest combustion engine-powered yacht in 1906, pioneering hydrofoil technology. The shipyard played a crucial role in constructing fast patrol boats and military vessels during both World Wars, further cementing its reputation for building fast, high-performing and reliable boats. Baglietto transitioned to building pleasure boats and yachts in the post-war era, designing high-performance yachts like the 26-metre Chato with water jet propulsion for elite clientele, including royalty and industrialists. Acquired by the Gavio Group in 2012, Baglietto continues to innovate, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering. Renowned for its distinctive design, premium materials, and cutting-edge technology, Baglietto remains committed to its high level of customisation. Today, Baglietto’s fleet includes the Fast Line series of planing yachts, known for its high-speed performance; the XO series built for adventure in remote destinations; the T Line of displacement yachts; and Dom Line, featuring displacement yachts with military-inspired designs. Notable recent deliveries include the 54-metre Severin’s and the 40-metre Panam.
