Benetti Motopanfilo Series
BENETTI MOTOPANFILO SERIES
The Benetti Motopanfilo series is Benetti’s dedicated range of semi-custom fibreglass and steel displacement superyachts. Said to be a modern reinterpretation of Benetti’s pioneering 1960s Navette yachts, the first hull in the series to be unveiled, the Motopanfilo 37M, was launched at Benetti’s Viareggio facility in 2021. The flagship model in the series, the steel-hulled Motopanfilo 45M, was unveiled at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show and introduced an all-new Veranda Deck concept from the Italian shipyard. Currently consisting of two models, the 37M and 45M, the exterior of the Motopanfilo 37M was designed by Francesco Struglia in collaboration with Benetti, while the exterior of the 45M model is designed by British Studio RWD in collaboration with Benetti. The interiors of both models are by Lazzarini Pickering Architetti, who is said to have been inspired by a whale skeleton with structural ‘ribs’ running throughout the interiors, vast lateral windows, and reflective surfaces creating light-filled, boundary-free spaces. Both models span four decks, with a versatile general arrangement that includes the full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck, four ensuite staterooms on the lower deck, and a sky lounge and aft terrace on the upper deck, welcoming a total of ten overnight guests. The Motopanfilo series also features Benetti’s signature Observation Deck, positioned above the sundeck, which includes a secluded crow’s nest with panoramic 360-degree views. The Motopanfilo 45M takes this concept one step further in Veranda Deck, opening the full-beam main salon on three sides, creating a 25-metre space between the interior and exterior, overlooking an aft infinity pool. The owner’s suite, which spans more than 60 square metres on the Motopanfilo 45M, also includes a studio lounge, full-beam bathroom, and optional private terrace. Powered by twin MAN V12 diesel engines, the Motopanfilo 37M has a top speed of 18 knots and a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots, while the Motopanfilo 45M has a slightly slower top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,100 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 to 11 knots.
