By adding a foil system between her twin hulls, drag is reduced by more than 40 percent onboard the BGF45, whilst enhancing speed, stability and fuel efficiency. The foil-assisted system means that the BGF45 is able to glide over waves rather than cutting through them, reducing fuel consumption by up to 30 percent whilst delivering stability and comfort at speeds of 30 to 35 knots. Her innovative design also maximises onboard space, and she features a spacious sundeck and sleek beach area that enhance the open-air lifestyle sought out by many owners. The interior layout offers owners of the BGF45 exceptional versatility with two staterooms plus a third multi-purpose space, all bathed in natural light thanks to her expansive glazing. The BGF45 is able to accommodate up to six overnight guests across three staterooms lower deck, including an owner’s stateroom forward, one twin and one configurable. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 D6 engines developed in a strategic partnership with Volvo, the BGF45 has a top speed of 35 knots, with a cruising speed of 28 knots, with a fuel capacity of 1,400 litres and improved fuel efficiency compared to conventional catamarans in her class.
