With a legacy of building military vessels for more than 75 years, Italian shipyard Canados Yachts is renowned in the industry for its craftsmanship and dedication to quality. Delivering more than 800 vessels to date, Canados Yachts specialises in the construction of semi-custom composite yachts ranging from 23 to 36 metres in length. Originally founded in 1946 by a group of master carpenters, Canados Yachts first started building wooden vessels for the Italian Navy, Coast Guard, and Harbour Master from an ex-hydroplane base in Ostia, Rome. In 1953, the yard took a significant step and entered the luxury yacht market, building its first yacht for a Gulf royal family. A pivotal moment in Canados Yachts history, it saw the shipyard make a transition from building military vessels to construction high-performance pleasure yachts, setting the foundation for its future. Canados Yachts remains an independent shipyard to this day, known for building yachts that seamlessly blend together modern technologies with traditional craftsmanship. Committed to a streamlined in-house production process, from design and engineering to metalwork and carpentry, the yard’s complete vertical integration allows for high levels of customisation and quality control, ensuring that each yacht is carefully made to its exact owner’s specifications. Canados Yachts’ current offerings include three distinct series: the Oceanic, Gladiator, and Canados lines. Notable models include the Gladiator 631 Next, the flagship Canados 122 Caesar, and the Oceanic 143 tri-deck.
