Setting the standard for Italian excellence in yachting since its establishment in 1985, Mangusta Yachts is known for its premium craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to perfecting yacht construction. Established by Giuseppe Balducci in 1985, the shipyard aimed to become a leading contender in the open-style pleasure vessel market under the umbrella of the Overmarine Group. Following the launch of the Mangusta 80 in the 1990s, an 80-foot open yacht, the yard began gaining international renown, which in turn led to the production of bigger models and the start of its Mangusta Maxi Open yachts.

Together with Stefano Righini, Mangusta Yachts introduced its Open Line flagship model, the 50-meter Mangusta 165. Under the visionary guidance of the Balducci family, this family-owned shipyard has continued to expand, offering a range of steel, aluminum, and composite semi-custom superyachts up to 56 meters in length. Currently offering three series, the Mangusta Maxi Open, the Mangusta GranSport, and the Mangusta Oceano, each series features the yard’s signature sleek and sporty brand DNA. Some of the yard’s most notable yachts to date include the Mangusta GranSport 54 El Leon, the first Mangusta yacht to complete an ocean crossing, and the Mangusta 165REV, the renewed concept of one of its most popular models to date..
