Founded in 1981 with the delivery of its first superyacht, the 32.1 m Lady M Moonen has cultivated a solid reputation over the past four-plus decades due to its exceptional craftsmanship, innovative designs, and highly personalised service. In 2019, Moonen faced financial difficulties due to a previous investor reducing its investment. However, the shipyard was successfully acquired by yachting enthusiasts Matthew and Louise Baxter, who revitalised Moonen, investing in infrastructure upgrades and a renewed strategic vision. Successfully delivering over 80 yachts to date, the shipyard prides itself on its distinctive approach, delivering only two superyachts each year to ensure personalised attention. Moonen’s philosophy is reflected in its vertically integrated facilities spanning metalwork, carpentry, and complete outfitting, all operating within its state-of-the-art shipyard. Moonen’s current fleet includes its celebrated Martinique series, including the 34-metre Moonen 110 Mustique and the 37.4-metre Moonen 122 Martinique, and one-off creations, like the 41.7m Serenity, demonstrating the shipyard’s consistent excellence across diverse projects.
