Turkish shipyard Numarine, founded in 2002 by entrepreneur and avid pleasure boat enthusiast Ömer Malaz, is known for its specialisation in explorer yachts. Located in Gebze, on the outskirts of Istanbul, Numarine offers semi-custom motor yachts ranging from 18 to 45 metres (59 to 147 feet) in length. Best known for its XP series of explorer yachts, as well as the HT and Fly series, the Turkish yard has garnered a leading reputation in the yachting industry for delivering yachts that excel in performance, quality and comfort.

A motorboat enthusiast since childhood, Malaz aimed to create his own brand of yachts to address the gaps he experienced in the market. Constructing a 35,000-square-metre production facility in Turkey, Numarine has the capacity to construct up to 50 yachts each year, leveraging advanced technologies like vacuum infusion and composite construction inspired by the aviation and racing industries and traditional craftsmanship to build its yachts. The first international brand from Turkey to be awarded the Turquality label, Numarine explorer yachts are defined by their unique design, lightweight construction, exceptional range, and customisation options. Notable models from the shipyard’s series include the 32XP, 40MXP, and the flagship model 45XP, demonstrating the yard’s expertise in building long-range explorer yachts. Numarine currently counts 63 yachts in its global fleet, according to data in the SYT iQ, with 12 yachts under construction.
