Introduced as the smallest model in Columbus Yachts’ explorer-focused Crossover range, the Columbus Crossover 42 made her debut in 2025, joining the 50-metre and 57-metre models in the series. Measuring 42 metres in length with a 9.34-metre beam and 2.6-metre draught, she features a steel displacement hull with bulbous bow and flared aft sections. Able to accommodate a tender of up to 9 metres, she is a true ocean-crossing explorer yacht, combining expedition functionality with contemporary living spaces. The Crossover 42’s layout prioritises forward-positioned guest areas on the lower and main decks, leaving the aft section available for tender storage or transformation into a beach club featuring a two-metre-deep seawater pool with glass sides.

The aft main deck incorporates an integrated crane system for tenders and water toys, with fold-down bulwarks creating open entertaining space. The main deck houses a spacious salon with metallic finishes, pale marble and light oak flooring, whilst the upper deck features a full-beam dining area opening laterally to create a cantilevered loggia. The sundeck provides extensive social spaces, complete with galley facilities and entertainment systems. The Crossover 42 is able to accommodate up to 11 guests across five ensuite staterooms, including the owner’s suite forward on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, one featuring a Pullman berth, with quarters for up to nine crew members. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, the Crossover 43 has a top speed of 14.5 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range exceeding 5,500 nautical miles.
