PERSHING GTX SERIES

The Pershing GTX Series is a range of “new generation” Sport Utility Yachts from Italian shipyard Pershing that aim to thread the line between high-performance sport yachts and larger, volume-heavy superyachts. First unveiled in 2022, the debut model in the series to be introduced in 2023 was the flagship model, GTX 116. The exterior design of the series was created by Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

The GTX Series currently consists of four models: the GTX70, GTX80, GTX90, and GTX116, all ranging from 21.76 to 35.33 metres in length. All models in the series are designed around expansive, interconnected outdoor spaces, providing enhanced livability onboard without having to sacrifice the signature Pershing speed and performance. The flagship model, the GTX116, is a clear example of the series design philosophy, offering 165 square metres of outdoor space spread across multiple decks, including a generous 39 square metre beach club that is connected to a swim platform that can be deployed into the water when anchored. Three 1,800hp MAN diesel engines give her a top speed of 34 knots, expected of the Pershing name.

The GTX80, measuring 24 metres, introduces a 23-square-metre sundeck and is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS1350 engines, whilst the GTX70, the most compact addition, offers 30 percent more external space than comparable yachts in her size class and is powered by three Volvo Penta IPS1200 units. All four models in the GTX Series are powered by either Volvo Penta IPS or MAN engine configurations over the surface drives of Pershing’s X Generation range, trading outright top speed for greater cruising range and a more comfortable ride across a broader range of sea conditions.
