The C Class from Princess Yachts marks the British shipyard’s entry into high-performance, centre-console powerboats, redefining dayboat and weekender cruising. Unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the C48, the entry model to the range, marked the introduction of the series, which is centred on a sports-driven platform with outboard or inboard engine options. The C Class features an exterior design by long-standing Princess collaborator Olesinski Design, with interiors by its in-house Princess Design Studio under the guidance of Andy Lawrence. Central to the C Class overall performance is Michael Peters’ patented SVVT hull, which channels air beneath the running surface to reduce drag and generate lift, enhancing both speed and fuel efficiency. Key features of the series include a full walkaround deck, with aft alfresco dining and foredeck seating designed for socialising and relaxation. With the debut model available in an open or enclosed deck salon version, owners can opt for the platform that best suits their yachting needs. The lower deck houses one to two staterooms, with an optional convertible dinette, accommodating up to four guests for comfortable weekend cruising. Powered by triple Mercury V12 600hp outboards or twin Volvo D6-480 diesels, the C Class reaches impressive top speeds of up to 54 knots.
