The F Class from Princess Yachts is the British shipyard’s core range of flybridge motor yachts. Part of Princess’s modern, rebranded lineup unveiled in 2018, the F Class is a refined evolution of Princess Yachts’ long-standing family-cruising heritage. Starting with the launch of the F70 in spring 2018, Princess Yachts unveiled the entry model to the range, the F45, at the 2019 Düsseldorf boat show, which introduced the series’ new design language that is featured across all subsequent models. Designed with extended family cruising in mind, the F Class delivers full-volume interiors within owner-operated platforms suited to both coastal cruising and longer voyages. Currently, the range includes five models spanning 14 to 20 metres in length, including the F45, F50, F55, F58, and flagship F65. The exterior styling of the F Class was developed in collaboration with Olesinski Design, with interiors by the shipyard’s in-house Princess Design Studio. The F Class models are characterised by deep-V hulls, expansive hull glazing, and some of the largest flybridges in their class. Across the range, the general arrangement follows a proven flybridge layout. The main deck combines an aft alfresco dining space with salon and forward helm, arranged on a single level to enhance flow and usability. Large panoramic windows maximise natural light, while well-equipped galleys are positioned either aft or amidships to support entertaining. The flybridge functions as a secondary social hub, offering helm controls, dining areas, wet bars, and sunpads. On the lower deck, accommodation varies from two to four ensuite staterooms, accommodating between four and eight guests depending on model size. The flagship F65 features four ensuite staterooms, while smaller models have flexible three or two-stateroom layouts. Select models include optional crew cabins aft. Powered by twin MAN or Volvo diesel engines, the F Class has a top speed between 31 knots and 33 knots.
