The S Class from Princess Yachts is the British shipyard’s range of sports yachts, devised to bridge the gap between traditional flybridge yachts and performance-driven sports cruisers. Officially launched in 2014 with the debut of the S72, the series established a distinctive formula of sports-cruiser performance with a flybridge that remains central to the range today. The current S Class includes four models spanning between 20 and 25 metres in length, including the entry model S60, S72, S74, and flagship S80, all of which feature deep-V hulls with streamlined superstructures and compact yet functional sportbridges. The exterior design of each model was created in partnership with Olesinski Design, while the interiors were designed by the in-house Princess Design Studio. Across the range, the general arrangement centres on an expansive aft stern connected to the saloon through sliding glass doors. Large hull windows and panoramic glazing enhance natural light throughout the interiors. The flybridge offers a secondary helm, companion seating, and sunpads, delivering open-air driving without the scale of a full flybridge. Integrated tender garages and hydraulic bathing platforms support watersports and practical cruising. On the lower deck, accommodation typically comprises four ensuite staterooms for up to eight overnight guests, including full-beam owner’s staterooms and a forward VIP ensuite stateroom. A crew cabin is positioned aft for a crew of one or two. Powered by twin MAN or Volvo diesel engines, S Class models offer top speeds of between 38 and 40 knots.
