Marking a new era of full-aluminum superyachts from Italian builder Sanlorenzo, the Sanlorenzo Alloy series features an innovative layout designed to enhance living out on the open waters for owners and guests alike. Placing emphasis on outdoor living, the series first began in 2007 with the introduction of the 40Alloy, which won several awards. Delivering 43 models in total, in 2020, Sanlorenzo introduced her successor, the 44Alloy. Currently in production, this model measures 44.5 metres in length and spans three decks, with an exterior design by Zuccon International Project. Maintaining similar lines to her predecessor, both models offered some of the most expansive owner’s suites ever seen on a superyacht within their size category. One of the key features onboard the Alloy series is the 147-square-metre owner’s suite, which is spread across three levels and comes with indoor and outdoor zones, a private plunge pool, and a dedicated gym and wellness area. Another distinctive feature of the Alloy series is the “villa on the sea” concept, which includes fold-out terraces off the main salon and owner’s suite that further enhance outdoor living onboard. Aft of the lower deck, the expansive beach club opens on three sides, offering direct access to the water. The layout is further optimized for comfort and natural flow, with a sky lounge on the upper deck, a centre lounge on the main deck, and five ensuite staterooms. Accommodating up to ten guests includes the owner’s suite on the main deck and four additional staterooms on the lower deck. Crew quarters for nine are also located on the lower deck. The Alloy series is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, with a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots.
