Sanlorenzo’s SP series, short for Smart Performance, is one of the latest additions to the Italian shipyard’s yacht range. Introducing a new offering of high-performance, sport yachts, the SP series leverages speed, performance and efficiency into a new generation of yachts from Sanlorenzo. Introduced in 2022, with the debut of the first model in the series, the SP110, the SP series redefines the open yacht experience by combining eco-conscious propulsion with cutting-edge aesthetics and a reimagined approach to onboard living. Designed by Bernardo Zuccon (exterior) and Lissoni & Partners (interior), the result is a striking open yacht with a minimalist execution and organic flow between interior and exterior spaces. Some of the key technical highlights of the SP series include the addition of waterjet propulsion for optimal efficiency and comfort across speed ranges, optional solar panels that power hotel loads, and an advanced SCR engine gas filter to reduce CO2 emissions. On the larger model of the two, the SP110 (33.04 metres), one of the main design features is the loft-style, double-height main salon with sliding doors offering unbroken sightlines from stern to interior. On the smaller model, the SP92 (27.95 metres), all three levels have been carefully designed to maximise light, space, and connection to the surroundings. Both models feature expansive beach clubs, clean-lined glazing, and open-plan layouts that blur indoor-outdoor boundaries. The SP110 can accommodate up to eight overnight guests across four ensuite staterooms next to a crew of four. Powered by triple MAN 12V 200HP diesel engines with a fuel oil tank capacity of 12,000 litres, the SP110 has a top speed of 40 knots, a cruising speed of 35 knots and a range of 400 nautical miles.
