AZIMUT VERVE SERIES

The Verve range from Italian shipyard Azimut is a series of outboard-powered sports cruisers that aims to redefine the weekender concept. Featuring three high-performance yachts that balance American-style centre console capabilities with Italian design sophistication, the first model introduced to the market from the series was the Verve 40 in 2016, making her world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Featuring exterior design by Neo Design, the original Verve 40 (discontinued) set the benchmark for the series’ distinctive aesthetic. Successor models, including the Verve 47 (2019-discontinued) and current flagship Verve 48 (2023), feature exterior and interior design by Francesco Struglia, with naval architecture by Michael Peters Yacht Design. Current models in production include the Verve 42 and Verve 48, spanning 12.90 to 15.03 metres in length. Featuring carbon fibre hardtops, asymmetric bow layouts, and sleek hull windows for enhanced docking visibility, the Verve series boasts impressive top speeds of up to 50 knots with spacious Italian-crafted interiors. The Verve series showcases fully open main deck configurations optimised for social interactions and performance. Cockpit layouts incorporate C-shaped seating arrangements to port with electrically retractable dining tables that lower flush with the deck when not in use, facing comprehensive wet bars equipped with refrigerators, icemakers, electric barbecues, and hot plates. Extended swim platforms accommodate triple outboard configurations, whilst fold-down port-side bulwark platforms create additional deck space and alternative boarding access. Forward areas feature elevated sunpads with adjustable backrests above social zones with facing settees and six-person tables. On the lower deck, layouts centre around galleys positioned opposite dinettes, creating expanded social areas illuminated with natural light from wraparound windows. The entry-level Verve 42 accommodates four guests across one stateroom with a convertible dinette, whilst the flagship Verve 48 can accommodate four guests across two ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam forward owner’s suite with a queen-sized berth and a guest stateroom with twin berths. Powered by triple Mercury Verado outboard engines ranging from 400 to 600 horsepower configurations, the Verve series offers top speeds of 43 to 50 knots and cruising speeds of 37 to 40 knots.
