The third largest model in Palmer Johnson’s series of Sportyachts, the PJ 150 was first introduced to the market in 2007 with the delivery of Aquanova. Measuring 45.7 metres in length, with a beam of 9.5 metres and a draught of 1.9 metres, she comes just under the 500 GT threshold at 495 GT. One of the most sought-after models launched by the American shipyard, the now-discontinued PJ 150 features all-aluminum construction, a semi-displacement hull, and a sleek exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard, inspired by racing cars.

Developed with outdoor living in mind, the PJ 150 features a range of exterior spaces for relaxation and entertainment, including her expansive flybridge deck, which offers a hot tub aft, sunpads, and lounging areas protected from the elements by the hard top. Other key features on board the PJ 150 include her main deck aft, with an al-fresco dining table for 10 guests and a seating area, and the swim platform, which can serve as a beach club when anchored.

The main deck salon flows into the dining area, with sofas and a sit-down bar. Popular in the charter market to this day, the PJ 150 can accommodate up to 12 guests across six ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck with a walk-in wardrobe and his-and-hers bathroom, and five guest suites on the lower deck. Crew quarters for a crew of eight are located forward on the lower deck, with the galley. Powered by twin MTU 16V diesel engines, the PJ 150 has a top speed of 27 knots, with a cruising speed of around 22 knots and a range of 1,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of approximately 12 knots.
