The Princess Y72, part of Princess Yachts’ Y Class range of large flybridges, made her official world debut at the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival. The entry model to the range, the Princess Y72, introduced the design language and onboard standards of larger Y Class yachts into a smaller and more compact flybridge platform. Princess Y72 SPECS
Her exterior design is by Princess Design Studio, developed in collaboration with Olesinski Design, with Italian studio Pininfarina creating her interiors. Her design includes expansive glazing, generous exterior spaces, and a natural, flowing indoor-outdoor layout. The main deck is designed to maximise light and flow, featuring full-length hull windows illuminating the salon. Sliding glass doors connect the salon directly to the aft cockpit, while the foredeck features a private lounge and sunbathing area.
Princess Y72 ACCOMMODATION
The flybridge is configured for both leisure and entertaining, featuring a wet bar, generous seating, dining space, and an elevated helm position with clear sightlines. The Princess Y72 can accommodate up to eight guests across four ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite amidships, accessed via a private lobby and dedicated staircase, a forward VIP stateroom, and two twin guest staterooms. Aft twin staterooms can serve as accommodation for crew or additional guests. Powered by twin MAN V12 diesel engines, the Princess Y72 has a top speed of 35 knots, with a fuel capacity of 4,500 litres.
