Sanlorenzo’s SL series underlines the Italian shipyard’s ongoing commitment to performance-led yachts in the fast planing category. First introduced to the industry in 1995 with the SL100, the SL line has since evolved into a range of sleek, glassfibre-built yachts known for their high-speed capabilities, reaching up to 27 knots, without compromising on comfort, stability, or luxury amenities. Today, the SL range includes five models: SL86A, SL90A, SL96A, SL106A, and SL120A, spanning 26 to 37 metres in length, with a clean-lined exterior design by Zuccon International Project. Sanlorenzo’s in-house design team created the interiors, which are fully customisable and in line with the SL series semi-custom offering. One of the most distinctive features of the SL series is its asymmetrical design (hence the A in each model name), which maximises interior space and enhances the onboard experience. The asymmetric layout of the SL series eliminates the port side of the main deck to extend the main salon, flooding the interiors with natural light through full-height windows and optional foldout balconies. Despite the SL series’ bold superstructures, the models’ profile remains fluid and refined. The main dining area flows naturally into an outdoor lounge that opens to the surroundings, further blurring boundaries between inside and out. On larger models in the SL range, sliding bulwark panels transform into foldout balconies on key social spaces, while the separate pilothouses on the flybridge provide discreet navigation. The flagship model SL120A can accommodate up to ten guests across five ensuite staterooms, including the owner’s suite forward on the main deck, with sweeping views of the surroundings and four additional guest staterooms on the lower deck. Powered by twin MAN 16V 200M96L MTU diesel engines, the SL series has a top speed of up to 27 knots.
