First introduced in 1997, the second generation of the Princess V55 made her world debut at the Southampton International Boat Show in 2019. A powerful and dynamic sports yacht, the Princess V55 is the third-largest model in Princess Yachts’ V Class range. Measuring 17.81 metres in length, with a 4.65-metre beam and 1.40-metre draught, the Princess V55 features a resin-infused deep-V hull that delivers exceptional handling, responsive performance, and superior seakeeping capabilities, while creating additional interior volume. Featuring an exterior design by Princess’s in-house design studio, in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski Design, and interiors by Princess’s in-house team, her design brings together the best of high-performance sports yachts and luxurious refinement. Her exterior styling features sweeping lines, accentuated by distinctive panoramic, knife-shaped hull windows that flood the interior with natural light and create a strong visual connection to the surrounding environment.

The main deck has been purposefully designed for open-air living, with an expansive cockpit featuring L-shaped seating, a substantial folding teak table, and a wet bar equipped with an electric barbecue. The cockpit naturally connects to the salon through a hydraulically operated drop-down sliding door and an opening window aft of the galley. Meanwhile, an electric sunroof overhead allows guests to enjoy the external elements. Additional outdoor spaces include a generous aft sunpad and a foredeck seating and sunbathing area with an optional teak coffee table. The Princess V55 can accommodate up to six guests across three ensuite staterooms on the lower deck, including a full-beam owner’s stateroom positioned amidships to maximise space and comfort, a forward VIP stateroom and a third bunk-bed cabin. An additional single cabin is located aft for crew or an additional guest. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 engines, the Princess V55 has a top speed of 36 knots, with a cruising speed of 34 knots and a fuel capacity of 2,500 litres, ensuring extended range for coastal exploration.
