The latest ‘special’ model to be launched by Italian shipyard Riva since its legendary Aquarama, the Aquariva Special is an open daycruiser that features the same styling and spirit of the 1960s icon. Debuting at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the Aquariva Special is the successor to the Aquarica Super, offering a modern take on the classic runabout boat.

RIVA AQUARIVA SPECIAL SPECS
Measuring 10.7 metres in length, with a beam of 2.8 metres and a draught of 0.96 metres, she maintains similar lines and proportions to her predecessor. The design of the Aquariva Special is by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, from Officina Italiana Design, who have been designing Riva yachts for more than 30 years, developed in collaboration with the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and its Engineering Department. The windscreen of the Aquariva has been reimagined to give her silhouette a more streamlined and contemporary look, while the swim platform at the stern is wider and more ergonomic for additional comfort getting in and out of the water.
RIVA AQUARIVA SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION
The cockpit area features a large U-shaped sofa, with a centrally positioned table that can be moved up and down mechanically, transforming the space into a dining area for up to eight. A bimini top offers shelter from the sun, while the dashboard is available in a digital and analogue version. The lower deck features a dayhead as well as additional storage and a sofa for lounging. Powered by twin YANMAR 8LV-370 diesel engines, the Aquariva Special has a top speed of 40.5 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots.
