Sanlorenzo’s X-Space series, first unveiled in 2023 with the debut of the 44 X-Space, reflects the Italian shipyard’s response to the growing demand for explorer yachts with superyacht refinement. Part of Sanlorenzo’s superyacht division, the X-Space series strikes a balance between explorer yachts and the shipyard’s classic navettas. Including two models, the entry model, the 44 X-Space, and the flagship model, the 50 X-Space, the spans from 44 to 50 metres in length, featuring rugged steel hulls, five-deck layouts, and volumes of up to 495 GT. With a bold exterior design by Bernardo Zuccon of Zuccon International Project, and interiors by Sanlorenzo’s in-house team, the X-Space series is defined by expansive glazing, flexible outdoor living spaces, and flexible layouts engineered for privacy. The latest model, the 50 X-Space, launched in 2025, also introduces a bi-fuel methanol propulsion system developed with MAN. One of the main highlights of the X-Space is its focus on fluid indoor-outdoor living. At the stern lies an elevated 18-square-metre pool that sits flush with the deck, offering privacy, which is part of the main deck terrace. This versatile open-air lounge can be expanded thanks to foldout balconies, which are connected to the indoor living spaces. The upper deck is fully dedicated to the owner, featuring an expansive owner’s suite, office, and foredeck jacuzzi lounge, shielded from view, even from the crew. Additional floor-to-ceiling glass windows flood the main salon with light, strengthening the connection to the surroundings. The main deck houses a large salon and dining area wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, strengthening the connection to the surroundings. The 50 X-Space can accommodate up to ten guests, with crew quarters for nine, and is powered by two high-speed MAN diesel and Nanni gensets that operate on a methanol-diesel blend, giving the model a top speed of 16 knots.
