Shipyard Highlight: Amels
Few yards have entered 2026 with the kind of momentum Amels has put on record in recent weeks. Three launches from their Vlissingen facility in quick succession, two from the Amels 80 series and one from the Amels 60, reflect a shipyard operating at full capability as the season approaches.
All three share exterior design from Espen Øino International, each with a distinct interior vision and a clear commitment to what the Amels Limited Editions concept was built to offer: personalisation within a proven technical framework, with the predictability of a tested platform behind it.
Here is what has come out of Vlissingen.
Amels 60 – Hull Nine
The ninth hull of the Amels Limited Editions 60 was floated out in January, and sold before she even left the water. She will now complete final outfitting and sea trials ahead of delivery later this year.
Interiors come from Winch Design, the British studio now behind 21 Amels superyachts and four Amels 60s specifically. The hull retains the series’ signature trapezoid windows on the main deck, with a colour progression that moves from sandy tones on the lower decks through to blue on the main deck and richer tones – reds, greens, and golds – on the upper levels.
For prospective owners, the Amels 60 continues to present a compelling case: the flexibility of a semi-custom programme with the reassurance of established naval architecture and a delivery timeline that holds.

Amels 80 – Netto II
The second 79.8-metre Amels 80 hull, Netto II, has now launched from Vlissingen following a construction process that began in 2022. Her hull first appeared in August 2024 in Galati, Romania, before transfer to the Netherlands for outfitting, a journey that reflects the scale of coordination these projects demand.
Like Pangea, the first Amels 80 delivered in October 2025, Netto II carries exterior design by Espen Øino International. Her interior, from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, is set against a custom dolphin blue metallic hull. She accommodates 14 guests across seven staterooms, with a dedicated owner’s deck and crew capacity for 22. At 2,175 GT, her specification includes a 200 m² sun deck, a main deck pool with glazing that opens the beach club below to natural light, and a waterside beach club extending on three sides.
A speakeasy bar with a 1960s casino atmosphere adds a signature moment to what is otherwise a thoroughly considered programme. Netto II moves into final outfitting ahead of delivery later this year.

Amels 80 – Project Zurich
The third Amels 80 hull, Project Zurich, launched from Vlissingen shortly after Netto II, the two sisterships having progressed through outfitting simultaneously. Construction began in 2023, with her hull first seen in Galati in November 2024.
Project Zurich shares the series’ Espen Øino exterior and Damen Yachting naval architecture, but her interior sets her apart. Designed by an award-winning studio that has chosen to remain confidential, the scheme is described as bright and distinctly custom. She accommodates 14 guests across seven staterooms with a dedicated owner’s deck, and her specification includes a 6.5-metre glass-bottomed main deck pool that doubles as a skylight for the beach club below, a feature that speaks to the considered thinking behind the platform’s evolution.
Her beach club opens on three sides with direct water access, and the wellness area incorporates a gym, hammam, and sauna. Project Zurich is now in final outfitting.

What Three Launches Signal
The pace at Vlissingen in early 2026 is notable not simply for its output, but for what it reflects about the Amels Limited Editions model. The ability to run multiple projects of this scale concurrently, each with distinct ownership requirements, interior programmes, and delivery timelines, speaks to the depth of experience and coordination behind the yard.
For owners and their teams, the message is clear: a proven platform does not mean a compromised result. It means the creative and technical foundations are already in place, leaving more room for the decisions that matter.
